World Health Day competition
World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on 7 April, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO). This year, World Health Day is focused on urgent actions needed to keep humans and the planet healthy and to foster a movement to create societies focused on well-being.
In the midst of a pandemic, a polluted planet paired and increasing diseases like cancer, asthma and heart disease, the WHO estimates that over 13 million deaths around the world each year are due to avoidable environmental causes.
Adapting to nature has to go together with strengthening our health systems. This will sustain us and help mitigate the effects of disasters, including pandemics.
In celebration of World Health Day, we’re running a competition to bring awareness to health and well-being and to recognise the exceptional work being undertaken by our QIP accredited organisations.
To enter, post a photo of your practice team and tell us in 30 words or less about a quality initiative your practice has implemented to improve your patient, consumer or staff’s health and well-being.
Tag us in your practice’s Facebook post @QIPaccredited or #QIPaccredited. If your practice doesn’t have a Facebook page, simply email your submission to your Client Liaison Officer.
One lucky winner will be drawn at random and will win a $200 practice party (morning tea, lunch or afternoon tea) on us! Winning entrants will be contacted via phone and shared on our Facebook page.
Competition closes COB Friday 29 April 2022.
Terms & Conditions: All tagged posts and emails will be entered into the draw, with one winning entry selected at random.
Entries close COB Friday 29 April 2022 with the winning post or email drawn and announced on Tuesday 3 May 2022. QIP will contact the winner to organise catering of their choice to the value of $200 (incl. GST).
This prize is not redeemable for cash and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook. By participating in this competition, you agree to grant QIP permission to share your photo and description on our communication platforms (this may include and is not limited to our websites, social media platforms, magazines, e-bulletins, and presentations).
