A cohort of already highly qualified, sector-experienced QIP Assessors recently convened in Sydney for a deep dive into the QIP Standards for Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults. Congratulations to QIP Chair Gary Smith for receiving an Honorary Doctor of Letters honoris causa (HonDLitt) from the University of New England (UNE). Gary was officially presented with his HonDLItt on Saturday 30 April 2022.

From 30 June 2024, all specialist homelessness service (SHS) providers contracted to deliver programs under the New South Wales Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) will be required to be accredited at the ASES Certificate level (or equivalent) in order to continue to receive DCJ funding for future contracts.
