New Advisories for the Cosmetic Surgery Standards

The Commission has released two new advisories to support the implementation of the Cosmetic Surgery Standards:

1. CS25/01: Notification of Significant Risk – Cosmetic Surgery Standards
   This advisory outlines the requirements for accrediting agencies to notify regulators and the Commission of any significant patient risks identified during assessments against the Cosmetic Surgery Standards.

2. CS25/02: Advice on Not Applicable Actions – Cosmetic Surgery Standards
   This advisory clarifies which actions within the Cosmetic Surgery Standards may be deemed ‘not applicable’ for certain services. It provides guidance for all healthcare services performing cosmetic surgery to ensure correct implementation and compliance.
