New and updated advisories for the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care has released updates to the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS), including one revised and one new advisory:

·         DI21/05 Clarification of consent requirements (Revised)

·         DI25/01 Diagnostic imaging practices transferring between accrediting agencies (New)

Accrediting agencies will now assess diagnostic imaging practices against these advisories. It is essential that all diagnostic imaging practices review and comply with these updated requirements to maintain accreditation under the DIAS.
