QIP ready to help disability service providers with NDIS audit requirements
QIP is pleased to advise that our application to be a Quality Auditor for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has been accepted by the NDIS Commission.
NDIS-registered service providers can now select QIP as the audit agency they wish to work with to achieve either certification or verification against the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators (NDIS Practice Standards).
QIP has more than 25 years’ experience working with health, community and human services providers of varying size and scope to achieve their compliance requirements against a wide range of state, territory and national standards.
We, therefore, understand that each service provider is different. This is of particular importance for the NDIS Scheme as these differences have a significant impact on the scope of audit requirements and assessment types.
QIP acknowledges that navigating the NDIS can be challenging. We have designed our systems and processes with NDIS-registered disability service providers in mind.
Our client-focused support aims to reduce for service providers the administrative burden of compliance. This allows them to focus on delivering positive outcomes for their own clients – the NDIS participants, and their families and carers – and strive for continuous improvements in quality and safety.
When working with us, clients are assigned a Client Liaison Officer dedicated to providing ongoing personalised support throughout the audit process. With expert knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and evidence requirements, QIP Client Liaison Officers are on hand to help disability service providers feel prepared and confident in undertaking the NDIS certification or verification process.
Our Auditors are professionally trained and qualified – each meets the minimum qualification requirements of the NDIS (Approved Quality Auditors Scheme) Guidelines 2018, including appropriate disability, inclusive and cultural awareness training.

While QIP is on hand and welcomes your NDIS queries or concerns at any time, we remind you that the best source of general NDIS information is the NDIS Commission.
As such, for your information regarding the NDIS, the NDIS Commission has advised that you should make certain that you are accurately signed up to receive their correspondence and information. Check your contact details in the NDIS Commission Portal for Providers.
Make certain that ‘key personnel’ and ‘primary contact person’ details – including contact numbers, address details, and appropriate email address – are correct. This will ensure that all relevant communications from the NDIS Commission are received by the appropriate person. This is particularly important at this time for multi-jurisdictional providers who are transitioning to the NDIS Commission.
