Serving as the face of QIP's accreditation programs in Australia, these professionals bring knowledge, experience, and a passion for quality and continuous improvement within the healthcare, community, and disability sectors across the country.
Benefits of being a QIP Assessor or Auditor
QIP Assessors and Auditors join our contract workforce and are remunerated per assessment. There is no requirement for QIP Assessors or Auditors to ‘give up’ their current working commitments, as assessment commitments fit within professional and personal life. As often or as little as desired, so long as it meets the minimum requirement of annual assessments and audits.

Pathways to becoming a QIP Assessor or Auditor
QIP’s comprehensive assessor and auditor training programs ensure all potential assessors and auditors are supported through the process of becoming a qualified QIP Assessor or Auditor.
QIP’s free eLearning modules enhance the learning experience allowing you to undertake self-paced learning against topics such as Assessor and Auditor Induction, relevant Standards, AccreditationPro, Report Quality Framework and Report Writing, cultural and diversity training. As your assessor or auditor experience deepens, we provide further annual training to support and enhance your assessment and audit skills and offer professional networking opportunities to help you build relationships and exchange knowledge with your peers.

Assessing with QIP
Commitment Required
Each year, QIP Assessors are required to undertake a minimum of five assessments and complete at least one mandatory training session. Apart from what is practicable, there is no maximum limit on the number of assessments Assessors can carry out each year.
Each Assessment Team has an QIP Assessment Coordinator who plans the on-site assessment activities to optimise the time of everyone involved. This role is usually undertaken by the Assessor; however, the Assessment Team Leader is also welcome to do so.
